Annual class, November
The chosen free revision class for 2020 is National 5 Maths.
Saturday School Ltd is proud to support local and national children’s charities and in recent years Saturday School has worked in partnership with The Teenage Cancer Trust and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Our chosen charity for 2020 is the Catherine McEwan Foundation.
Our free revision class each year gives National 5 and Higher students who are considering a Tutor the opportunity to come along and meet our team of fully qualified, GTCS-registered Tutors. Our team of Maths Tutors have identified the most relevant Key Areas and skills from the National 5 Maths course and prepared a dynamic and engaging revision lesson. Students will leave our free prelim revision class feeling more confident and skilled, ready to take on the internal assessments in there school or college.
Our free classes are tutor-led, directly taught, limited to 20 students per lesson
Students will also be left with additional recommendations of selected questions from SQA past papers, or our own exam-standard examples, which will allow them to further develop in the specified area beyond the lesson.
We hope that for just a small donation to charity, students have the chance to master an area they may not yet have fully grasped, being re-taught to our unrivalled high standards by our expert Maths Tutors.
When and where
The free revision class runs from 09:00 – 12:00 and after a short presentation from the charity partner, students and tutors break off into classrooms to revise and re-teach the most popular key areas, or typically the most difficult topics identified by students, from the chosen course.
Fees and structure
A minimum charitable donation of £10 is required.
