The
Saturday School Scholarship
fuelled by

We are privileged to partner with The Di Maggio's Restaurant Group (DRG) to lead the Saturday School Scholarship with our inaugural cohort for the academic year 2022/23.

With the incredible generosity and support of The DRG, we are providing enhanced educational support for six young people in their National 5 and Higher STEM subjects, guiding them to maximised success in their learning via our Weekly Lessons and Grade Booster Days.
Whilst the Saturday School Scholarship does not target any particular demographic, we do look to support young people who face barriers to their learning or who have faced other adversity. Scholarships aren't just awarded based on a particular characteristic, each application is judged on a case-by-case basis; we are however particularly keen to work with those from disadvantaged backgrounds, underserved communities and underrepresented groups. The most important quality we look for in our scholars is a positive attitude to learning. We want to work with learners who have the determination and desire to succeed in thier National 5 and/or Higher courses.
Saturday School Scholars receive a fully funded educational support programme at Saturday School and are expected to fully commit to attending our in-person classes at The Glasgow Academy with unlimited access to our:
-
Online support from all subject tutors
-
Learning resources and materials

"Di Maggio’s are delighted that we have the opportunity to support the educational progress of young people in Scotland. We are incredibly proud to be supporting an educational project that champions diversity and inclusion, helping those from underrepresented and underserved communities gain success with their education. We wish the pupils learning with Saturday School the very best of success."
