Saturday School Scholarship
Our scholarship portfolio continues to grow, achieving incredible success, publicity and support. With our unique and innovative Catherine McEwan Foundation Scholarship entering its third year, Saturday School is proud to launch our latest offer: The Saturday School Scholarship, an educational recovery and enhancement programme for people in Scotland (of school age or older) who demonstrate the potential, willingness and determination to be a success - no matter what.
This scholarship does not draw on any particular demographics, scholars are not selected based on any particular characteristic and each application is judged on a case by case basis; it is genuinely open to all who have the desire to succeed in National 5 and/or Higher courses. Scholars receive a fully funded educational support programme at Saturday School and are expected to fully commit to attending our in-person classes at The Glasgow Academy with unlimited access to our:
online support from all subject tutors
learning resources and materials
Alternatively, scholars in need of a full SQA National Qualification (N5 or Higher) can be funded and supported to achieve this.

Education Funding Partners
The Saturday School Scholarship is only possible with the incredible contributions from our Education Funding Partners; organisations who are recognised within their local communities and on a national scale by their commitment to support the education of young people and adults, enhancing and maximising their opportunities in work, further or higher education. Our entire scholarships programme is of course not for profit, every penny of investment and every minute of coordination, management and staff time goes directly to the education of our scholars.
Individuals who are considering applying for a scholarship at Saturday School should complete the registration of interest form.
Any potential scholars who progress beyond this stage are required to complete a more detailed application process, and where appropriate, information from parent(s)/carer(s) and a senior leader in their school/college will be required.
