Driven by our partners

The Saturday School Scholarship is for anyone.

Whether you are a school pupil, home-educated learner, adult; whoever you are, whatever your background, Saturday School Scholars are supported by us, with the incredible support and generosity of our Education Funding Partners.

Saturday School Scholars are supported to educational success in a range of ways, from small interventions such as tutoring sessions, all the way through to gaining a full SQA National Qualification or Award.

Whilst the Saturday School Scholarship does not target any particular demographic, we do look to support people who face barriers to their learning or who have faced other adversity.  Scholarships aren't just awarded based on a particular characteristic, each application is judged on a case-by-case basis; we are however particularly keen to work with those from disadvantaged backgrounds, underserved communities, and underrepresented groups.  However, the single most important quality we look for in our scholars is a positive attitude to learning.

We want to work with learners who have the determination and desire to succeed in their educational and personal development, people who we can be proud to have helped toward their next goal, whether that's in school, college, university, or employment.

Saturday School Scholars receive a fully funded educational support programme that is designed around them, giving them fully funded access to any of the following:
